Hotel Renacer

I visited Santo Domingo in January for the first time . It was a great experience to stay at Hotel Renacer. The place is kept clean and comfortable. Ramon who is one of the front desk associates went above and beyond to meet my needs. Eric who is the director of the hotel was very outstanding and courteous; he was very helpful and attentive to all my needs. All the staff members made me feel at home. I will definitely stay at Renacer during my next visit to Santo Domingo. I wish there were more options for breakfast. New towels and shower curtains are needed in the bathroom. More television channels need to be added to the list such as English and French since there are multicultural guests at the hotel.

so far is just about good, it has a restaurant the you can eat before you go, not included in all reservations though

Comfortable showers, strong aircon and WiFi throughout. Cool tiled floors and large lounge make the hotel elegant but not too pricey.

Clean and comfortable for the price. Free breakfast included: fresh juice, coffee, eggs with ham and toast. Nice pool area, accessible through the kitchen. Free wifi. Recently raised the rate to $1900 PD. Right on Avenida Bolivar near Parque Independecia/Telemicro. Can be quite noisy with barking dogs, street noise and construction but this is normal for this part of town. Off and on "hot" water. Very small rooms, tiny bar of soap and flat pillows, but the staff will accommodate with extras if needed. I have been there many times, on occasion staying when ill to attend medical appointments and the staff is always very helpful with bringing me food or cleaning the room quietly as I rest.

Recently stayed I really enjoyed my time located close too the old city where you can see all of the beautiful sights, the people up front are so friendly make sure you are treated well the cook pretty cool when you get too know you

Nice hotel. Personal is so friendly! Nice pool that was with no one in it on weekdays. Had nice swimming there alone! Was checked in at about 00:00 (had late evening flight) without a problem. Breakfast is pretty simple but you can definitely have more than one cup of coffee and fruits. Eggs were too fried for me to it... but if you speak Spanish or can explain it in english somehow they make them right as you want specially for you.

Rooms need fumigation. The AC works fine, there's fan, Netflix, a good pool and it has parking. Because is located so well it deserves 4 stars. Service is good enough. Price is affordable.
